Should you care?

Where talent is not normalized
and no weight factors exist.

When the spirit is fearless
and not subject to valuation.

Where perfection means sheer joy
and is not tied to credit.

Where you'd be your best
When there is none to impress.

Where you'd create art
and not heed for public approval.

Its one thing to say, another to do
Can you live in a world removed from 'you' ?

Yes, we can live in a world removed from 'you'. Except, this world slips in and out of our subconscious, mostly after work and weekends, when time is yours and yours alone. My 9-5 drudgery is supposed to alleviate the middle-class syndrome of being stuck with what you get, instead of what you really want. And in this quest of the 'world removed from you', 9-5 often extends to looo..oong hours, hope hoping against hope that they bring you closer to what you really want to do, only to go down deeper into the drudgery, with increased responsibilities and stature, and standard of living, which demands more drudgery. So, thats the vicious loop I'm stuck in, trying to live in a world removed from 'you'.
